To complete the team at its gourmet restaurant serving contemporary cuisine in Vichy, which features in both the Michelin and Gault & Millau guides, and for its hotel with 5 modern rooms, Maison Decoret **** Relais & Châteaux is hiring: a demi chef de partie/commis chef to start in early September.
We offer a contract for 41 hours a week.
The hotel and restaurant are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
6 weeks of paid holidays (2 weeks in February, 3 weeks in August, Christmas, 1st May and various days throughout the year).
The role includes meals but does not include accommodation. Accommodation can be provided during the probationary period of this permanent contract.
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic person. You are organised and disciplined. You are aware of and implement applicable kitchen hygiene standards. You are responsible, detail-oriented and have a real taste for the meticulous work which reflects our philosophy.
You’re keen to join a young and dynamic team.
You are reliable, presentable and available to work on weekends and bank holidays.
Successful experience in a Michelin-starred restaurant or a Relais & Châteaux property would be a plus.
