The pleasure of ice-cream:
a new page in the family’s history
Jacques Decoret has always had a passion for patisserie and thought about specialising in it at one point. He is particularly knowledgeable about new techniques, attending all the major events which celebrate the art of patisserie. As a chef, he has developed a finely honed sensitivity to such an extent that he is renowned for both his savoury and his sweet creations.
Because cooking is a family affair at Maison Decoret, Alexis and Antoine, Jacques and Martine’s two sons, have also become chefs, focusing on patisserie. Having spent time at some of the best restaurants in the world, an idea developed: adding to the Decoret signature style with original, artisanal ice-cream. This new concept entailed a new challenge in which they are all involved.
