Jacques Decoret has always had a passion for patisserie and thought about specialising in it at one point. He is particularly knowledgeable about new techniques, attending all the major events which celebrate the art of patisserie. As a chef, he has developed a finely honed sensitivity to such an extent that he is renowned for both his savoury and his sweet creations.

Because cooking is a family affair at Maison Decoret, Alexis and Antoine, Jacques and Martine’s two sons, have also become chefs, focusing on patisserie. Having spent time at some of the best restaurants in the world, an idea developed: adding to the Decoret signature style with original, artisanal ice-cream. This new concept entailed a new challenge in which they are all involved.

Decoret Glacé Boutique:
concept and flavours

In the centre of Vichy, at the beginning of Rue de Paris, near the Quatre-Chemins shopping centre, the Decoret Glacé Boutique offers a range of delicious frozen desserts. A truly artisan address, the ice-cream is made from fresh local products in the restaurant and then sent directly to the boutique.

4 flavours of Italian-style ice cream are available: Strawberry, Valrhona Chocolate, Madagascan Vanilla and Caramel. Several other flavours are available in litres or half litres, along with sorbets made with water from Auvergne’s mountains.

The Vacherin Minute kit:
an original creation

The Decoret Glacé Boutique sells the Vacherin Minute kit which creates delicious desserts. Choose your ice-cream or your sorbet along with your toppings and your sauce.
